How to use Google Maps for measuring distance on a PC

1. Open Google Maps on your computer and then use the search box to find your starting point. Right-click on the spot you have found and a drop-down menu will appear.

2. You’ll find an option to measure distance. You can tap on this option to select another point on your map to measure distance. A small box will appear at the bottom of the screen that shows the distance between your starting point (or destination) and your destination.

3. To move the points you are measuring, click on the white dot at either end of the line. Then drag it to a different location. You can also click on another point to create a path.

Step 1
